There’s no template here. No conveyor belt. No other wedding waiting in the wings. For up to forty-eight hours the entire house and grounds belong to you and your guests, exclusively.
We’re family-run and it shows. From the first viewing to the last dance, you’re looked after by people who know your names, your plans and where on the lawn you’d like the chairs.

02 Your Ceremony Three ways

Licensed for civil ceremonies indoors and out, with a few country churches a mile or two away.
Garden & Cedar Lawn
Outdoor vows on the cedar lawn, beneath a tree planted in 1520. The orchard on one side, the Wye Valley on the horizon.
Church Ceremonies
Prefer a religious service? Several country churches sit close by, Glewstone takes the rest of the day from there.
03 Your Reception Three rooms.

One table.
Three reception rooms flow into one another, ideal for a relaxed wedding breakfast, whether that’s a long banquet for eighty or intimate rounds for sixty.
Parquet floors, marble fireplaces, garden views. For larger celebrations, a marquee extends the festivities onto the lawn.

05 The Evening The bar opens.
The bar opens.
The fires light.
As evening falls, up to 130 join you for the celebration. The Courtyard Bar opens and the fires are lit, while the dancing carries on late into the Herefordshire night.
We offer a late license, meaning that there's no curfew or early lights-up. Instead, you can celebrate as long as you see fit, before enjoying a slow breakfast together the next morning.

The house sleeps thirty across ten individual bedrooms, from chandeliered suites to characterful rooms under the eaves.
